shall be read with regard to the PCB Libraries Terms of Use.

OR USE OUR SERVICES.
This statement describes how and why PCB Libraries, Inc. (PCBL) collects
personal information and how that information is used.
The latest Privacy Statement supersedes all prior revisions
and has precedence over any
verbal or written communication. PCBL reserves the right
to modify its privacy policy with or without notice.
If changes to this statement
are significant (as determined by PCBL), PCBL will try
to notify you by sending you an e-mail to the address
associated with your account.
PCB Libraries staff will never ask for your password, via email, phone,
or any other means. You should not share your password with anybody.
WHY INFORMATION IS REQUIRED
PCBL is committed to protecting your privacy and strongly
values you as a visitor, subscriber, and/or customer. Therefore, PCBL
set high standards that guide the collection, use and protection of
your personal information.
PCBL offers you products, services and access in good faith that the
information you voluntarily provide us about yourself is truthful. The
consequence of failing to provide legitimate identity information is
outlined in the Terms of Service.
Your access to the PCBL site will be limited unless you provide this
personal information. This information is necessary for us to track
the usage of the PCBL website and to help ensure the website is optimized
for your best use. You have password-protected access and should keep
your personal information with PCBL up to date.
Regardless of how PCBL requests the information and how it is provided
to us, (including, but not limited to: verbally, in writing, via other
parties or online), the PCBL Privacy Statement and Terms of Service
are binding.
PCBL may require additional personal information in order for you to
purchase, subscribe, act as an affiliate, or participate in certain
surveys, sweepstakes and other activities.
INFORMATION OWNERSHIP & USAGE BY PCBL
Your personal information will be used by PCBL. We may access and/or update your
information for reasons such as (but not limited to) providing a service
you request, maintenance purposes and order verifications.
PCBL will not barter, sell or release your personal information to
any organization, unless special circumstances arise in which PCBL deems
it best to do so for a number of reasons, including, but not limited
to: requirement by law or regulation; identification, reporting of activity
deemed illegal; prevention of abuse; when PCBL believes an individual’s
or organization’s well-being is threatened; failure to abide by
the terms of use as determined by PCBL; merger with another company
or acquisition; or when necessary to provide you with the services you
request (eg purchasing through a reseller) or express interest in.
PCBL may use your personal information in a limited number of ways.
PCBL may record and maintain logs of your usage of the PCBL site, including
(but not limited to) information you provide, your IP address, products
you download, and pages you view. PCBL may publicly or privately share,
with whomever it wishes, general, aggregated information that pertains
to your account or usage of the PCBL site, such as (but not limited
to) country, download statistics and demographic information. This general
information that is shared will not identify your personal identification
such as telephone number, email address and mailing address.
TECHNOLOGIES
PCBL uses “cookies” (relatively small files stored on your
computer’s hard drive) which allow PCBL to do various tasks, such
as track usage, recognize repeat visits, and provide session control
so you may have access to products and services provided by PCBL. Therefore,
so that you may have access to some PCBL products or services, your
browser must have the ability to handle cookies. You can disable cookies,
but, as a result, certain features and services of the PCBL site may
become inaccessible to you. PCBL is not responsible for how cookies
are handled by other web sites you visit.
PCBL may also use web beacons (or clear GIFs) to track statistics of
read e-mail messages and measure click-through rates. Cookies or beacons
used by other parties (such as advertisers) will not be bound by PCBL
Privacy Statement or Terms of Use. PCBL may, without notice, use other
such technologies it deems necessary.
PCBL employs web pages that use industry-standard SSL connections to
collect and protect your private information. Although PCBL takes measures
to protect the collection and storing of your personal information,
there are no guarantees that third parties will not illegally access
your data or intercept it in transmission. PCBL is not responsible for
such unlawful actions taken by other parties.

AFFILIATES & THIRD PARTIES USAGE
PCBL is not responsible for how your information is stored,
used, or handled by third parties.
All information you provide to PCBL Affiliates or other parties (such
as advertisers), whether or not you link to them from PCBL, is collected
and maintained by the respective parties, not PCBL. PCBL Advertisers,
at their discretion, may also store cookies on your computer.
It is important that you note when you are dealing with PCBL affiliates
that while they may co-brand or display the PCBL logo on their website,
their privacy policies are likely to vary from those of PCBL. PCBL will
use affiliates and third parties that are reputable and may discontinue
business relationships with parties whose actions or services become
questionable.
Sometimes it PCBL may need to share your personal information with
third parties for the purpose of providing you a product
or service. For instance, purchases will require that PCBL share all
related personal
and payment information (including, but not limited to
name, address, and credit card numbers) with processing companies. The
respective parties,
not PCBL, are each responsible for how they handle your
information, whether provided by PCBL or directly given by you to such
parties. Their
use of your information will not be bound by the PCBL
Privacy Policy or Terms of Use.
PCBL Forum Moderators may have access to any information in your forum
profile, including your email address. This is a very
limited right that is granted selectively, but you should
provide no information in your PCBL Forum profile that
you do not wish to share.
SWEEPSTAKES & GIVEAWAYS
If you participate in any sweepstakes, PCBL may share
your personal information with companies that sponsor the respective
sweepstakes. If you are a sweepstakes winner, PCBL may (and likely
will) publicize your name, company, city, state and country.
PCBL may randomly select anyone who has provided PCBL with the required
personal information a prizewinner. PCBL will make reasonable effort
to contact the winning individual. If PCBL cannot establish contact
with the winning individual in reasonable time, PCBL reserves the right
to select an alternate winner. Prizes may include products, coupons
or discounts from the PCBL store. If you win and claim the prize, you
in effect give PCBL the right to publicize your name, title, company,
city, state and/or country.
