To use our complimentary BOM Service, send your Excel spreadsheet that includes at least two columns: "Manufacturer Name" and "Part Number" to our BOM Service Email.
Why FPX instead of native CAD format? The FPX files provide flexibility to define custom layers, drafting outlines (silkscreen, assembly, courtyard, component), ability to change units (mils/mm), solder/pastemask sizes, line widths, abitlity to turn off layers, and simple, one-click migration to different CAD formats, among others. You have a lot more flexibility over the resulting footprint by using an FPX file compared to a static library.
- POD Builder users will be deducted at least 5 credits upon request (depending on part type), and the balance (1 or 2 credits) upon delivery. Get the Enterprise version to get cheaper parts and to save time! We highly recommend using the latest release for all parts to ensure compatibility. Note: new part requests start at only $5; there is a surcharge for very complex and/or confidential parts that cannot be posted publicly (see Part Request page for details).
