POD Subscription

Parts on Demand is a database of dynamic parts designed for the PCB Footprint Expert to take full advantage of our proprietary CAD LEAP^TM Technology (Libraries Enhanced with Automated Preferences). Our library solution allows you and/or other librarians on your team to build parts in a predefined, standardized and consistent way. Get any part with either default settings, or with any of dozens of configurable options - tolerance, rotation, pad shapes, and line widths are just some of them.

POD Subscription gets you access to our POD database. If you are not purchasing POD subscription together with software maintenance, contact us or your local distributor to price/pro-rate the subscription to adjust the subscription due date to match your Footprint Expert Enterprise license maintenance due date.

NOTE: POD Builder will be discontinued out as of December 31, 2022. Upgrade to the Enterprise (here) before then for as little as $99 per year.

POD Subscriptions purchased after October 1, 2022 will only work with the Footprint Expert Enterprise and Viewer - POD Builder is no longer supported with subscriptions purchased after this date.

NOTE - new Part Requests are not included in POD subscription packages. We can build any parts for you if we do not have them, but you will need POD Credits.

Requirements

• The latest version of the Footprint Expert Enterprise
• Assignable to one PCBL online account
• Internet access to search/download parts from POD

Please note, it's important that you only use POD downloads with the latest released Footprint Expert version. If you do not upgrade to the latest Footprint Expert version, you may have compatibility issues with downloaded FPX files from POD. There are no refunds or adjustments for un/used credits or parts downloaded that are not compatible with older versions of the Footprint Expert (use the latest release).
