The product is great and is unique in the market. Footprint Expert does not need new features but improved reliability.

The recent bug "FP designer with radial connectors" highlight the fact this software is very fragile. When you update a version to fix an issue, we don't know which new bugs will be appear.

Here are a few suggestions:
1-Introduce a bug tracking system.
2-Create or improve your automatic test benches which will test new SW release with thousand of known good footprints. When a bug is fixed, it should be added as a new test in the test bench.
3-Do code review to check impact of modifications

I have a personal request, get an Orcad 17.4 license. There are many issues still pending, and you need it to test the build feature for Orcad/Allegro.

Best regards

A user-facing bug tracking system (like on GitHub, where we can see bugs others have posted and track status of these issues) is my #1 feature request for FPE.
