In creating a .5MM 8 Pin SOP in least mode. The heel in least mode is .25MM. When I change the pad length from .39MM to .40MM the heel value changes to .05MM.
I have the trim set to 0.00

Thanks for the video...it really helps in this case.
Note in your video the terminal type. When you change the L dimension the terminal changes from 'Outward L' to 'Gullwing'. The two have different goals.
