We're adding a Chamfer or Dot to polarized Axial Lead footprints in the next release.

The Assembly 'Polarity Dot' only appears in 'Polarized' components. 

i.e.: there is no Polarity Dots on Resistors or Non-Polarized Capacitors or Inductors.

I noticed there are some footprints which pin 1 dot indicator doesn't appear in assembly layer, however I already choose this option, can please add more details.
