    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=14555">SDTKO</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3269<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 04 May 2023 at 2:22am<br /><br />Hi,<br><br>Maybe I'm missing something, but when changing the bevior of certain features there should be an option to keep the old behavior.<br><br><div>A recent example is the silkscreen outline using the inner edge instead of the center for alignment to the component body.</div><div><br></div>There appears to be no option to keep the old behavior which results either in an inconsistent footprint library or manual rework for every part from now on.<br><br>Please consider adding options for ensuring backward compatibility when changing the behavior of features.<br><br>Regards,<br>SDTKO]]>
