You can't edit the "<b>Internal Default</b>" options.<div><br></div><div>When you select "File &gt; Save As &gt; Your Master .opt" all the grayed out cells turn on.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>All the edits that you make to "Pad Stack Rules", "Drafting", "Fiducials", "Components" and "Terminals" are saved to your Master Option file.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>You can have as many "Master Option" files as you want to produce different libraries for specific applications.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div><b>Console</b> Option edits are saved to a different file -&nbsp;<span style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">ConsoleOptions.opt</span></div><div><br></div><div>All Footprint Expert users have unlimited technical support and you can ask for a training webcast for any day at any time and we can share screens and help you with any issues and answer all your questions.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>]]>

That is the one I referenced in my first post and which shows as path to this file at the bottom of the options screen.<div><br></div><div>When I make changes to the options, it is NOT that file that updates.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Why is that?</div><div><br></div><div>I did not try to rename the ConsoleOptions.opt file in the program folder. It is that one that updates when I make changes.</div>]]>
