    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=3">Tom H</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2948<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 05 Jul 2021 at 9:05am<br /><br /><div>SC-70 is the 0.65 mm pitch IEC version of the SOT23.&nbsp;</div><div>SC-75 is the 0.50 mm pitch IEC version of the SOT23.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>There are 3 pin pitches for SOT/SC series, and they all come in 3, 5 and 6 pin versions:&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp;- 0.95 – SOT23 (IPC &amp; JEDEC), <b>SOT346 </b>(EIA) and TO-236AB (JEDEC)</div><div>&nbsp;- 0.65 – SC70 (IEC) and <b>SOT323 </b>(EIA)</div><div>&nbsp;- 0.50 – SC75 (IEC) and <b>SOT523</b> (EIA)</div><div><br></div><div>The 0.95 pitch&nbsp;<b>SOT346</b>&nbsp;and the 0.65 pitch&nbsp;<b>SOT323</b>&nbsp;and the 0.50 pitch <b>SOT523</b> use the same physical characteristics as the SOT23.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Do we use the EIA case code name or the IEC or the JEDEC? They're all the same package type per IPC-7351 guideline.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>]]>
