Author: AGONZ67
Subject: 2601
Posted: 05 Feb 2020 at 10:07am

When creating a flat pack package IPC-2221 8.4.2 covers the basic formula but the Land Pattern Creator does not calculate these for you. You need to know the dimensions in order to create a Land Pattern, if this were the case then couldn't I just use the SOP tool to create my landpattern? Would be nice if the CFP option would calculate the CFP landpattern dimensions 'L', and 'T' based on the IPC flat-pack formula? Also, I do not see the option for a thermal tab on the CFP calculator.
