Author: Eng. Jesus Mora
Subject: 2428
Posted: 17 Jan 2019 at 10:03am

Hello ,

I am trying to make a footprint for this PN LT1764AET#PBF , it uses the TO-220 Vertical case code present in library expert. But I'm running into a problem, this part has formed leads fixed, pins 1,3,5 sticking outwards from the part and pins 2 and 4 inwards from the part . The problem is that library expert only lets me do 1 position configuration ( 3 pins inwards and 2 pins outwards). I tried to add this part to the FP designer but the option is grayed out for this family.

The interesting thing is that on parts on demand this part exists and has the correct pin orientation, but i don't know how can this be reproduced on library expert. Maybe I'm Missing something or doing something wrong, would you guys help me out?

Best regards

Jesus Mora
