We are adding Polarity Dots to Headers (and all component families) in V2016.
 
The user will be able to:
  1. Relocate
  2. Resize
  3. Delete
  4. Change shape to Triangle, Plus, Line, Diode
  5. Change layers from silkscreen to assembly
  6. Add additional Polarity. Say you want it outside on silkscreen but inside on assembly

It's coming.

When I generate a through hole vertical header component the Pin 1 Dot on the silkscreen doesn't appear despite having the "Silkscreen Pin 1 Dot Size" parameter set to 1.00mm.
