Thanks for your input. We talked about setting up command line function. Most likely won't happen anytime in the near future, earliest maybe 2013. It would be great to be able to generate libraries from command line, for example:

FPX_2012.exe --buid --env=N --prefs=DefaultPreferences.dat --library=Maxim.fpx --translator=Altium --output-dir=/maxim

A possible use case is automatically building libraries on a post-commit svn hook. This would allow for completely automated library generation when a new version of the fpx library is committed to svn.
