    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=3">Tom H</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3239<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 21 Jun 2023 at 8:52am<br /><br />We now give 18,600 Case Code library parts with the installation of Footprint Expert Enterprise.&nbsp;<div><ul><li>BGA</li><li>Connectors</li><li>Semiconductors</li><li>SM Discrete</li><li>TH Discrete</li></ul><div>You'll find multiple SOT89 footprints from multiple mfr.'s in the&nbsp;SM Discrete library.&nbsp;</div></div><div><br></div><div>You will also see that some Pin 2's are rectangular shaped and some have chamfered pads.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>According to IPC-7351, the SOT89 is a standard package, but the component manufacturer's have made it non-standard.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=5851">mengfei</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3239<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 20 Feb 2023 at 7:57pm<br /><br />This common part does not have a Template even in the paid licensed version, I'm not sure why there is&nbsp; not a comprehensive template for an app that calls itself "PCB Libraries".&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>I think ALTIUM Libraries covers even more templates than this stand alone software.<div><br></div><div>Please update this dated software with the newer parts that are being used now &amp; even adding those common parts that will be used still in the future like SMD connectors, SOT89, DFN type MOSFETS, USB connectors etc.</div><div><br></div><div>&amp; If these are already present please guide this lost engineer&nbsp;<img src="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Thank you</div><div><br></div></div>]]>
