    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=16315">laltmann</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 3101<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 13 Apr 2022 at 10:37am<br /><br />Hello,<div><br></div><div>I would like to request a feature be added to the DPAK generator.&nbsp; Many DPAK and D2PAK packages are specified with clipped leads, such as TO-252AA, which specifies that "lead number 2 was removed" and the active terminals are 1, 3 and 4.&nbsp; Currently this is not directly supported within Footprint Expert.</div><div><br></div><div>For simple configurations, like the 3-terminal TO-252AA, the workaround is to specify double the pin pitch and manually rename the pads after generation.&nbsp; But this does not work for e.g. TO-252BB, which has five leads on the edge with only one clipped.&nbsp; The 3D model would still be generated with all leads shown as it is now.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks!</div>]]>
