Having 2 sets of preferences causes 50% of our technical support issues. So we're just supporting "Default Preferences" in the future. </div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>In the Setup Preferences &gt; Design tab set your Density Level to Nominal and use the 3-Tier library system. User Preferences are only 1-Tier. </div><div>&nbsp;</div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=6852">GrungyRemnant</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1669<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 07 May 2015 at 9:59am<br /><br />Thanks for the reply.&nbsp; <br><br>I looked again.&nbsp; Just to clarify, it turns out I can import the preferences for the User Preferences - Default Preferences Source but when I select the User Preferences - User Preferences Source it gives me the warning.&nbsp; <br><br>Are you saying I should just ignore the User Preferences Source setting and leave it at default(install path\PCB Libraries\Library Expert 2015\UserPreferences.dat)?&nbsp; The settings in UserPreferences.dat wil not affect anything anymore?&nbsp; If not then I'm good, but if it does then I might have some issues.<br><br>I find the preference setups to be confusing, I'm glad to hear one will be going away. <img src="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" /><br><br>Chris<br><br><br>]]>
