I like all of the features of this software but what would make it most useful to me is having the ability to take a DXF version of the footprint and import it. I am able to generate a dxf from a data sheet that has a scaled image of the correct footprint pattern.

I am looking to avoid having to create all pads and arrays from scratch. This capability is already built in to the PCB layout package that I currently have. The PCB package that I currently have allows for importing shapes for Pads but it will only let me do one at a time.

My hope is to be able to import an entire footprint from a dxf and assign pin properties to each shape.

- Randy
