Author: Tom H
Subject: 1372
Posted: 30 Jun 2014 at 6:51am

There is no Calculator for the SOT-89 due to the various shapes of Pin 2.
You can download specific mfr. SOT-89 packages from Parts on Demand (POD).

There aren't very many of these component packages, so we build all SOT-89 footprints in PADS Layout per the mfr. recommended Land Pattern and put the PADS p/d files on POD for customers to download.

Example: search for DIODES INC. + P/N: ZXTR2005Z-13 and you will find a SOT-89 from that mfr.

I also attached a generic SOT-89 in PADS p/d format. You can use the PADS to CAD translator to convert it to your CAD tool. But there is a disclaimer that most mfr. make their SOT-89 slightly different.

uploads/3/SOT-89.zip
