    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=1830">Evenkeel</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1206<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 12 Dec 2013 at 9:14am<br /><br />Is there a resource/spec (or a method in this tool) for properly sizing rectangular pads onto which a specific AWG magnet wire would be attached?&nbsp; I have a tool (Saturn PCB Toolkit) which gives me the diameter of any AWG so I just need a pad design.<br><br>I considered winging it by treating the wire as a MELF SMT part with the pad length L being long (ie, 2mm) but I was wondering if there was any 'better practice'.&nbsp; Web searching has yielded nothing specific yet.<br><br>I have PCB Lib Expert 2013.17<br><br>Thanks,<br><br>Billy]]>
