Some families have an option to set "Pin 1" but being able to edit pin numbers would be much more flexible.

One of the examples of a very non-standard pin numbering is Diodes DF005S bridge rectifier (https://www.diodes.com/part/view/DF005S). "SOIC" package family may be used to create its footprint but there is no way to renumber pins as per datasheet without moving the footprint to Designer (which feels like an overkill for such a task).
