Here is a sample of 3D STEP models created by Footprint Expert. 

These models are auto-generated using the package dimensions in the Surface Mount and Through-hole calculators. You can change the color assignments for the package body, polarity marker, and terminal leads and save the colors to the FPX library. 

You also have 100% control of the through-hole lead length to accommodate different PCB thicknesses.
