V2021 Footprint Expert Enterprise for Altium with 3D STEP cost $598 for yearly maintenance. 

You get all the Updates (and we just uploaded V2021.02 pre-release with a couple bug fixes). 

You get unlimited technical support and training. 

All new features will go into V2021, which is a brand new 100% rewrite.

Correct 2021.17 was the last BETA release, we rolled back to 2020.01 with the official release.

Just to clarify, if I want Altium with 3D step then it will be $598 per year.

The Free V2021.01 Footprint Expert Pro is officially released after 1.5 years in development. 

The Free V2021 Footprint Expert Pro is full featured with "Options, Library Editor, Batch Build, FP Designer, etc.). No difference between Footprint Expert Enterprise and Pro except Pro has some Banner Ads. 

The Free V2021 Footprint Expert Pro is only intended as a footprint automation tool for 12 CAD tools: 
  1. CADint
  2. DesignSpark
  3. DipTrace
  4. Eagle
  5. KiCad
  6. Pantheon
  7. Proteus
  8. Pulsonix
  9. McCAD
  10. SoloPCB
  11. Target 3001!
  12. Ultiboard
Xpedition, Allegro and PADS Professional were already removed for V2021 Pro. 

In 10 days, OrCAD PCB, PADS Standard, all Zuken CAD tools and Altium will be removed. 

The new V2021 Pro does not support 3D STEP except for BGA's. 

If you want/need 3D STEP, you must upgrade to the ENTERPRISE version. 

You can get Free 3D STEP, but you must pay the yearly maintenance of $299 (like Nick mentioned above last week). 

Also, all our software programs are Free, but some CAD tool interfaces and 3D STEP require paying the yearly maintenance to get all the upcoming updates, technical support, training and new features.

3D STEP is available for $299 a year - no need to pay for the license, just yearly maintenance to get the updates.
