    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=15524">hossa1c</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2816<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 16 Feb 2021 at 5:03pm<br /><br />Hi,<div>Circuit Studio by default has 2 top assemble layers</div><div><ul><li>Assembly Text Top – the component name</li><li>Assembly Top – outline of the component</li></ul>When I use Library Expert Enterprise Edition (2020.03) I usethe default with the following changes.</div><div><p ="Ms&#111;normal"><o:p></o:p></p><p ="Ms&#111;normal"><ul><li>Translator = “Altium Circuit Studio”</li><li>PADS Version = 9.3</li><li>3D Model = tick</li></ul></p><p ="Ms&#111;normal"><o:p></o:p></p><p ="Ms&#111;normal">This generates a &lt;name&gt;.d &amp; &lt;name&gt;.p</p><p ="Ms&#111;normal">I then import &lt;name&gt;.d in to Circuit studio, but Ihave the following problems</p><p ="Ms&#111;normal"><o:p></o:p></p><p ="Ms&#111;normal"><ul><li>I cant find a way to add my string “.Designator” to the .fxdpart so it appears on any of the Assembly layers. This resolves to the to componentDesignator to help with placement.</li><li>The 3D step file isn’t attached to the component.</li><li>The “Top Solder” layer seems to contain the courtyard and someextra larges pads.</li></ul><div><br></div><div>I've included the &lt;name&gt;.fpx file&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pcblibraries.com/forum/uploads/15524/fpx.zip" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">uploads/15524/fpx.zip</a></div><div>and the PcbLib which was the imported from the &lt;name.d&gt;&nbsp;<a href="uploads/15524/New_Parts.zip" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">uploads/15524/New_Parts.zip</a><br></div><div><br></div><div>cheers</div><div>Chris</div><div><br></div></p><p ="Ms&#111;normal"><o:p></o:p></p><p ="Ms&#111;normal"><o:p></o:p></p><p ="Ms&#111;normal"><o:p></o:p></p></div>]]>
