    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=3">Tom H</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2380<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 28 Jan 2019 at 8:01am<br /><br />In Preferences, there is a different courtyard setting for each terminal lead diameter and the user can create as many Terminal Lead Diameters as they want.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>Go to "<b>Preferences &gt; Terminals &gt; SM Grid Array's &gt; BGA, LGA or CGA</b>" and there are tables for the various Lead Diameter's and each one has a separate Courtyard Excess.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=3">Tom H</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2380<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 03 Sep 2018 at 8:25am<br /><br />The Courtyard Excess setting for BGA's are much more robust than other component packages.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>The BGA Courtyard Excess is determined by the Ball Diameter.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>However, the end user has 100% control of all the values in Preferences. i.e.: the user can change any default value in the program to fit your requirements.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>All the default values in Preferences are simply a recommendation and not a "Standard".&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Change the values to whatever you want for your personal custom library creation.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>]]>
