    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=3">Tom H</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1953<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 07 Sep 2016 at 10:44am<br /><br />In the Preferences menu select "<b>New</b>" to go back to IPC-7351B<div><br></div><div>In Preferences menu select "<b>Open &gt; IPC-7351C Proposal.dat</b>" to open the new standard.</div><div><br></div><div>The default Toe, Heel and Side values for both standards are located in this Library Expert folder:</div><div>C:\Program Files (x86)\PCB Libraries\Library Expert 2016\Documents</div><ul><li>IPC-7351B Solder Joint Goal Tables v1.3.xlsx</li><li>IPC-7351C (Proposed) Solder Joint Goal Tables v1.3.xlsx</li></ul><div>You can open these spreadsheets to do a side by side comparison. </div><div><br></div><div>You can always change the Toe, Heel and Side values to whatever your manufacturer requires. </div><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=1152">caclark</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1953<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 07 Sep 2016 at 8:30am<br /><br />I have been tasked with doing a comparison between our company component library for a few device types (our own .dat file we have changed from IPC standard over the last several years to fit our mfg requirements) and that of IPC directly.<div>&nbsp;</div><div>However I do not see how to reset the Default Preference Source back to "IPC Internal <span ="highlight"=""><span ="highlight"="">Default</span></span>s". </div><div><br></div><div>How can I reset it? It will not allow me to type in the preference field to change the name or location of this source file. </div><div><br></div><div>And I do not know where the program has located the "IPC Internal <span ="highlight"=""><span ="highlight"="">Default</span></span>s" .dat file on my computer.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>I have the latest version installed 2016.10</div>]]>
