I'm sorry, but our programmers are very busy creating Symbol Expert and adding a brand new mathematical model for SMD pad size calculations for Library Expert.

If you see V2016.06, a lot of work went into the GUI and new features were added.

We will eventually get to adding color bands on resistor 3D STEP models, but right now there are other projects with a higher priority for our global customer base.

i.e.: we have 100,000 people waiting for Symbol Expert and you are the only person asking for 3D STEP color bands. So we have to have priorities, even though adding the color bands will only take 20 hours to implement, that time away from other features progress.

I apologize, but I promise we will get to it this year.

I thought we put them in Axial but I was wrong. I'm in charge of that feature, so I will add them for the next V2016.05 release next week. How many bands do you want and what are the "Default" colors?

They are in the MELF Resistor.

In V2016.04 you can change the colors to the resistor bands for Axial Lead parts.
