    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.PCBLibraries.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=711">kwgilpin</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1177<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 17 Nov 2013 at 12:27pm<br /><br />When FPX creates a non-plated mounting hole (e.g. for a custom FP Designer component), it includes a pad that is sized smaller than the drill.&nbsp; Cadence Pad Designer does not really like this and generates a warning.&nbsp; Additionally, I have had at least one board house complain about this as well.&nbsp; <br><br>The better approach would be to use the "Mech pins use antipads as Route Keepout: ARK" option within Pad Designer.&nbsp; When that checkbox is enabled, the copper pads can be set to a size of 0.0 while the thermal relief and anti-pad are define the route keepout area around the hole. <br><br>Can you make the necessary change to the translator?&nbsp; <br>]]>
