LP Wizard
 
1.   Allegro fix - Bottom layer Lands (pads) weren’t being recognized and translated properly in Allegro. They are now. Note: The LP Calculator never had a component family that used "Bottom Layer" SMT Lands (pads). This was required to properly translate edge connectors (fingers).
 
2.   Allegro fix - There was an issue with padstacks mapping to the proper layer. That’s fixed. Note: The LP Calculator never had a through-hole component family. The IPC-7251 through-hole technology will be released in the LP Calculator in December (but we're prototyping the new PTH LP Calculator now). This is also necessary for the Universal CAD Library Translator for existing non-standard parts and connectors.
 
3.   CADSTAR fix - The CADSTAR LP Wizard interface had an issue translating associated copper properly. That’s taken care of. Note: this was related to checker board patterns on Thermal Tabs paste mask stencil data.
 
4.   Fix PADS Layout - The Layer Assignments in "Preferences" were not transferring over to the LP Wizard. If the user changed all the layer assignments the original layer assignments would still be the default.
 
 
LP Calculator
 
1.   Added the infrastructure for Through-hole "Preferences". The new IPC-7251 through-hole technology portion of the LP Calculator starts testing proceedures and the creation of new through-hole PLB files and CAD libraries.
 
 
LP Software
 
1.   Fix the "Auto-update Notification" feature. The LP Software automatically notifies users when an update is available. This feature was disabled and LP Software users were not being notified of important updates.

I have PADS V2004 and V2005 on the same computer, but I personally have not installed V2007.
 
However, my co-workers have V2005 and V2007 on the same computer and they even share the same license file and they have never reported any problems.

Does anyone know if there is a problem having PADS V2005 and PADS V2007 on your computer at the same time? 

I want to download the V2007 evaluation version but am afraid it will screw up my V2005 version. 
 
The Mentor website says it's not recommended to have both versions on a computer but I'm wondering if it's just to get you to upgrade. 
 
Hope someone has tried it before without problems.  If you have any suggestions or experience with this, I'd like to know.

Make sure you have a 'correct' via to span the layers you need. If you have a L1-L2 microvia, set your filter to layers 1 and 2 (start layer/end layer).

So far I have only seen "non-collapsing" BGA balls with ball sizes 0.2mm or less and 0.5mm pitch or less.
 
The NXP BGA per your web-link is a Collapsing Ball.
