Baldwin Technologies Inc. is a PCB Design Service Bureau that was established in 1995. We have developed our own naming conventions and standards which have served us well for many years. With this many years of experience, you would think that we have nothing else to learn, but that was not the case. Tom had an in-depth knowledge that exceeded ours and was able to give us short-cuts and pointers to help ensure accuracy and increase productivity. The Navigator Wizard is an invaluable tool which will unquestionably increase productivity and ensure accuracy and conformance to IPC standards, and allows even an inexperienced designer to create land patterns that are perfect. Baldwin Technologies Inc. is a member of the IPC Designers Council and our goal is to conform to the IPC specifications. Utilizing the tools and naming conventions will ensure our compliance to the IPC standards. The one world library is a concept that is finally becoming reality and we are very excited about it. In business time is money and saving our time is saving us money. The training that we have received will help us to design more boards in less time, have a higher confidence level in their accuracy, not worry about triple checking everything, and make them look more consistent and just a bit more professional. This training is a great dollar value and we definitely got our moneys worth.

Tom is the only designer that I have ever met that was more detailed oriented and streamlined than I. He is very high energy and has a passion for his tools and work that make him an excellent teacher / trainer. He loves to help others and I believe that he has found his calling in life.

Thank you for our recent training session! I downloaded and played with the various start files, CAM files, custom thermals, etc. that are available on the PCB Libraries website but had not really understood and appreciated what an integrated and cohesive system they represented. Our hands-on session really opened my eyes. I was also dragging my feet on going over to metric but now I understand the benefits and am becoming a much more willing participant. After completeing several layouts (in metric) since our training, I estimate that your training easily saved me 25-30% time compared to my old way. Since I am an independent consultant, this translates into more jobs and therefore more dollars. I am already looking forward to possibly having a more advanced session with you. Thanks again!
